How did you hear about i Solution?
Through satisfied colleagues from other SPAR branches. We scheduled a demo and received a good explanation. What particularly appealed to us was the comprehensive service. I have been working in this industry for 23 years, and there is always something. Everything works perfectly on the first day, and then issues start to arise. It's nice to know now that there is coaching, repair, and even replacement available if something goes wrong.
Do you experience any disadvantages?
Not for our own use, but I wouldn't recommend the i-mop XL for large spaces. In the past, I worked in a Jumbo store of over 2000m2, and I find the device less suitable for that. But for our store, it’s ideal.
Besides the comprehensive service, do you experience any other benefits?
Yes, it is a simple device that almost anyone can operate. Also, we can fix most malfunctions ourselves. If not, we scan the QR code, report the malfunction, and have a technician visit within 24 hours. The cleaning results are good, and the floor dries quickly. As we handle food services involving fats, it's beneficial that we can clean up swiftly in between tasks. Thanks to the double battery set, we can use our devices 24/7.
Has there been a direct cost saving by using i Solution?
I haven't calculated this, but an important difference is that we now know exactly what we spend each month. When you buy a machine yourself, costs often rise quickly after the warranty period. It is utopian to believe that nothing will ever go wrong with your device. Thanks to i Solution's service, you get immediate help in such situations, and it is included in the price. Of course, there are also incidents that occur due to our own fault, like a blockage, for example. We can usually resolve those ourselves quite well.
How did you find the coaching and training?
We had a good demo and also find the tutorial videos very helpful. We circulate those videos in the group chat with all colleagues. If there is an issue, we try to fix it ourselves first with guidance from the coach or the QR code, and if that fails, we report a malfunction.
Have you already used the swap service?
Yes, we had another machine within a day. The technician comes by with several machines in the back. It was all very easily arranged.
How did the implementation of the machines go?
I handled it myself. It’s not rocket science. Everything was installed by the coach, and then it was pretty straightforward.
How did you clean before?
We used an orange scrubbing machine, but it had many malfunctions. The suction motor broke down quickly. The warranty had expired by then, and the costs started to increase rapidly.
How did your employees react to the machines?
They are happy with them. They’re easy to use. With i-mop you just make a round, which is especially handy now with all the snow and dirt people bring inside.
Do you have any tips for other businesses considering i Solution?
There are many products, so look carefully at what best suits your business. The free demo is definitely recommended. Make sure you know what you are getting and what you are not, so you never face any surprises.
